Media technologist screen printing
A media technologist screen printing is responsible for the realisation of screen printing orders. This includes independently creating screen printing forms for different applications, operating printing machines, selecting printing inks, monitoring the printing process and checking the printing results. They ensure compliance with quality standards and are responsible for the maintenance and care of the production facilities.
Media designer digital and print
A media designer digital and print is responsible for technical print realisation. To do this, they create layouts according to technical drawings or customer specifications and check the files for printability. Their tasks include preparing print data for various printing processes, advising customers, planning work steps and setting up and operating technical equipment such as digital printing machines, cutting and laser plotters.
How long does my apprenticeship take?
The apprenticeship programm lasts 3 years. You will aternate between the company, which teaches the practical content, and the vocational school, which teaches the theoretical knowledge.
