From today on our trainees will complete a three-year apprenticeship in our company in the field of media technology screen printing. Every day they are supervised and trained by our trainers to ensure the best possible training. They will actively work as part of the team throughout every relevant department and in day-to-day business.

Welcome to Planet e – the electronica trade fair starts today in Munich under this well-known theme. More than 2,700 exhibitors from more than 50 countries are presenting their products and services at the world’s leading trade fair for the electrical industry. We are also there and are presenting our product portfolio in the field of customer-specific input systems in Hall B5, Stand 464.
You have the chance to visit us at electronica until Friday, 11 November 2016. Our team, consisting of Mr Christian Roos (Managing Director), Mr Stefan Lübeck (Operations Manager) and Ms Swetlana Koleber (Marketing Manager), stands ready to assist you personally at our stand.

After all, touch technology has found its way into nearly every area of our daily life and has been used in the form of central input devices in the industrial and medical field for years. In addition, an input unit with a glass overlay fulfils high hygiene requirements, which play a decisive role in the medical field.

In August 2016, our company successfully carried out and passed the recertification audit according to DIN 9001 and DIN 14001. And since we always like to face new challenges, we have also successfully obtained certification according to the revised ISO standards DIN 9001:2015 and Din 14001:2015.
The quality management system has already been practised for years by Roos GmbH. A first-time certification took place in 1998. For us, working according to qualitative considerations is a strategic decision in favour of reinforced orientation towards you – our customers – and with a view to improving our business processes.

We would like to give a warm welcome to the new apprentices in our team. Today they are starting their apprenticeships in Media Design for Digital and Print Media (Subject: Design and Technology) and Media Technology: Screen Printing.
As part of their apprenticeships they will be spending time in all the relevant departments in the company and will be actively working as part of our team in day-to-day business. From today until the day they complete their apprenticeships, they will be looked after by our trainers.

Manufacturing front foils in a combination printing process

The combination of screen printing and digital printing processes opens up new possibilities for the manufacturing or front foils. Customers’ special requirements for the front foil design can therefore be implemented economically and quickly.
Besides the technical requirements for a front foil, the customer’s specific design is also a very important factor. Producing customised design with screen vignettes and photo realistic motifs is only possible to a limited extent in screen printing. To guarantee customers more freedom in designing front foils, Roos GmbH from Augsburg has added the new Thieme 3020D to its digital printing machinery.
